Rhythm Guitar Lessons

Maria offers an unconventional way of learning to play the guitar. 

Maria was homeless as a teenager and found her first guitar in a skip in Mansfield. 

A local busker repaired and restrung the guitar for her and taught her to play D, A, G. The chords to Bad moon rising!

Maria learned more by watching other musicians through the years and learned to write her own songs and cover songs throughout the years. 

Maria works with each student to explore their favorite songs and if they want to sing, identifies the key of the students voice and works with the student, so they can learn to play and sing their favorite tunes, if that is what they wish. 

 

Songwriting & Poetry Lessons 

Maria enjoys writing her own songs and poetry and us happy to teach the structure and build on creating either songs or poetry. 

Maria now has a few methods in which to create songs or poetry almost insultainiously.

Maria also offers advice regarding performance, confidence building and ways of getting your work out into the world.
